The
Songket Gallery @ Rumah Atas Tol
The
gallery is dedicated to H.R.H. Sultan Mizan Zainal Abidin, with photo
displays of his coronation as well as court ceremonies. Visitors
can view various Songket heirloom from the collection of the late
Y.A.M.Tengku Ngah Aishah Al-Hajah binti Sultan Zainal Abidin III,
Tengku Ismail's grandmother. The fine collection of Tanjak or Songket
headdresses of the numerous styles worn at Royal Courts of the Malay
Sultanates make an interesting demonstration of the art Songket weaving.
